If you check below, there are several great places to eat in College Park. Besides eating food there are several other things to do in College Park. Some of these include:
-Spending an afternoon reading in Albert Park. Located right in the middle of Edgewater Drive, Albert Park provides a quiet area to sit and read or play in the gazebo! It’s also right across the street from some delicious food options, making it possible to spend some time relaxing THEN eating delicious food! The trees provide a quiet and cool area away from the hustle of College Park businesses.
-Stop into a local shop. From the Orange Cycle bicycle store to Dechoes Resale Emporium there are several local owned shops on Edgewater Drive that sell clothes, furniture, ice cream, makeup, cupcakes (one of my favorites) and more! College Park residents love supporting local businesses. On the weekends, most of the stores along Edgewater Drive keep their doors open for all the visitors walking the street to stop in.
-Visit College Park Yoga for a yoga class. They offer several different kinds of classes, starting at 7:15 in the morning and going until 9:30 in the evening, which provides classes for even those who work until after dinner time. College Park Yoga offers classes for all levels of experience. On Saturday mornings they do a $5 class for the community that is basic yoga. Even kids are welcome to attend!
One of the most exciting things about College Park is its close knit community. Edgewater Drive is often closed on Saturdays for a community event, bringing residents closer together over food and activities.
